Articles of Association approved at today's IFB AGM
The IFB is pleased to confirm that at its Annual General Meeting (AGM) earlier today, members voted to approve the new Articles of Association.
This is a significant milestone in the history of the IFB, enabling a more inclusive and agile membership which supports the insurance industry’s collective fight against insurance fraud. Today’s result means we are moving towards creating a broader membership with access to our products, services and data sharing. We will also be enhancing fraud intelligence by attracting new data sets and organisations, and reviewing our levy structure for the future.
Karl Helgessen, Chair of the IFB Board, said: “We are excited that members have voted to approve the new Articles of Association today and look forward to progressing what we believe will make a real difference for both existing IFB members and our new ones to come.”
Ursula Jallow, Director of the IFB, added: “A key pillar of the IFB’s three-year strategy, Forward Together, is aimed at better serving our members and preparing for the future. The outcome at the AGM today is the result of 18 months of engagement with our members so I’d like to personally thank them for their support.”
