IFB Prevention Campaign wins TECA Award
The Tackling Economic Crime Awards recognise individuals, teams, initiatives and companies involved in tackling different areas of economic crime. The IFB, joint with the MIB’s Communications and Campaigns team, were absolutely thrilled to achieve the award for Outstanding Private/Third Sector Initiative announced on Friday 15 November. This award recognises the great strides that have been made through the Prevention campaign, delivered as part of the IFB’s Forward Together strategy. The campaign has seen a combination of PR and social media advertising to raise awareness of different insurance fraud scams, as well as the consequences of committing insurance fraud.
The success of the Prevention campaign is the result of a real joint effort with the IFB team identifying new trends to help focus campaign messaging, our Industry Communications Working Group contributing ideas and the Communications and Campaigns team producing bolder, creative content to keep capturing the public’s attention.
Ursula Jallow, Director of the IFB, commented: “The Prevention campaign is part of our three-year strategy 2022-2025 and never did we dream we would get this up and running and be so successful within two years. The award is testament to the support of our members, IFED and ABI who have not only contributed valuable insights but aligned their own campaigns and messaging to help demonstrate the industry’s collective fight against fraud.”
