‘Bigger and better than ever before!’ Jon Radford highlights his ambitions for IFB’s new strategy
Jon Radford, Head of Intelligence, Investigations and Data Services at IFB, has shed light on how he wants to drive forward IFB’s new strategy with the industry, to help the fraud-fighting organisation to be ‘bigger and better than ever before’.
Forward Together, which is the new strategy for 2023-25, was recently unveiled by Director Ursula Jallow, and sets out plans for how IFB will enhance innovations and keep pace with external change.
Jon, who previously headed up the fraud claims team at QBE Europe and led counter-fraud teams across global territories for commercial and personal lines, gives his take on how he wants to continue building on the organisation’s success to deliver great results for the industry and consumers:
“IFB is at the heart of the UK’s fight against insurance fraud, protecting countless businesses and members of the public from the devastation of fraud each day. But as the nature of economic crime becomes increasingly complex and digitised, it means it’s vital that we evolve our services, so we can keep pace with change and continue protecting people.
“In collaboration with the industry, we can make IFB bigger and better than ever before. I believe by being more insurer-focused and diversifying our services to a wider sector, spanning commercial and personal lines, we can broaden our reach to help protect every insurer and their customers.
“Forward Together is a golden opportunity for our members to help IFB realise its full potential. I’m excited to be collaborating side-by-side with industry partners in delivering our shared vision.”
IFB’s three-year roadmap includes updating technology to enhance efficiency and member experience, improving data quality and reviewing its membership model.
Priorities are outlined in a new IFB Membership Framework and Technology and Data Strategy.
