Replatforming Insurance Fraud Intelligence Hub (IFiHUB)

Last year, the IFB advised IFR and IFiHUB users that we will be upgrading the IFiHUB, with a projected go live of May 2024.

Project Status: The project is currently on track for delivery in May 2024.

A number of key project milestones and activities have been achieved since our last update, including:

  • Formulation of a test strategy.
  • Completion of OKTA / IFiHUB integration, so that users of IFB Exploration and IFiHUB will have one single customer journey to access both solutions moving forward.
  • Agreement of internal IFB project Champions. These are: Emma Edgley, Gary Warren, Gabriela Wadyk, Shelley Bond, Harriet Barnes and Joanna Wegrzynowska.
  • Issued initial guidance on the format of URN data and guidance on AzureBlob storage, with further updates to follow by the end of February.

The General Insurance Fraud Committee (GIFC) and the IFB Board remain fully sighted on this activity. Into 2024, the IFB and SAS will focus on:

  • System functionality testing, which will involve support from the Member Working Group in final stages.
  • Building out a suite of training materials, to be rolled out to staff and members from the start of Q2 onwards.
  • Issuing an update to Schedule 5 of the IFR/IFiHUB User Agreement to reflect the new Disaster Recovery provision, as a result of the transition from existing physical hosted infrastructure to the cloud (Microsoft Azure). There will be no need for members to re-sign the User Agreement as a result of this upcoming change.
  • Ensuring regular communications to members on the progress of the project.
